CDL A
23 years old
DWI convictions: none within the last 5 years and no more than 1 in a lifetime
Moving violations and preventable accidents: no more than 3 each in the last 3 years

The Shelly Truck Driving School is expanding in its York location and we are looking to hire a full-time driving instructor. The ideal candidate will have a CDL Class A license and three (3) years of verifiable experience driving a tractor trailer. A very good driving record, High School diploma or GED, and ability to pass a DOT physical and drug tests are imperatives. No teaching experience is needed. We will train you to become a trainer! We are currently seeking an experienced professional to identify, develop, and manage a customer base that has or can provide freight opportunities. As appropriate, this position will – cross-sell freight opportunities that fit our other divisions; use market data to provide competitive quotes; schedule appointments at shippers/receivers; coordinate and develop outside carrier partners to pick up and deliver freight on time; communicate changes to customers and carrier partners; assist with receivables and payables for all managed freight; and assist in any administrative needs. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office products; be willing to learn and adapt to ever-changing transportation software; possess strong sales and oral and written communication skills; be able to work in a high-paced team environment; and be motivated to achieve sales targets.
